Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 September 2026
Diana Garzon Photography is a portrait photography studio in Brandon, Florida. This policy explains what we collect when you book a session, view a gallery, or contact us — and what we do with it. It is written to describe how this studio actually operates rather than to cover every possibility.
Who we are
Diana Garzon Photography, a photography studio operating in Brandon, FL, serving Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, and greater Tampa Bay. For any question about this policy or your information, write to hello@dianagarzon.com.
What we collect
Only what a session needs. Specifically:
- Contact details — your name, email address, and, if you give it, your phone number.
- Session details — the package you chose, your session date and time, the location, and any notes you send us.
- Expected delivery date, for maternity and birth bookings only. This is health-related information about you. We collect it because birth photography cannot be scheduled to a time slot — we use it solely to know when to be on call, and we do not share it with anyone.
- Photographs taken during your session, including photographs of your children.
- Payment records — the amount, date, and a reference number from our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- Account information if you set a password to view your gallery.
- Incomplete bookings. If you enter your details and leave before finishing, we keep what you entered so we can follow up. See below — you can ask us to delete this at any time.
We do not run advertising trackers, analytics profiling, or third-party marketing pixels on this site. The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in to your own gallery.
Photographs of you and your children
Photographs from a newborn, family, or birth session are personal in a way that ordinary business records are not, and we treat them that way.
- Your gallery is private and reachable only by someone signed in to your account.
- Full-resolution originals are kept in private storage that is never publicly readable. Previews shown in your gallery are watermarked and reduced in size.
- Where a child is photographed, we collect and hold those images on the instruction of that child’s parent or legal guardian. Accounts on this site are for adults; no one under 18 should create one.
- We do not publish photographs of you or your family on our website or social media unless you have given us separate, written permission in your session agreement. That permission is yours to withdraw — write to us and we will remove them from anything we control.
Text messages
If you tick the box asking for text updates, we may text you about your booking — confirmations, reminders before your session, and a message when your gallery is ready. You are never opted in by default, and you can book a session without giving a phone number at all.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or your consent to receive texts with any third party for their own marketing. Your number is passed only to the messaging provider that delivers our texts, and only so it can deliver them.
- Message frequency varies with your booking — typically a handful of messages around your session date.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, or write to hello@dianagarzon.com.
- Stopping texts does not cancel your booking. We will still email you the things you need.
We email you about your booking, your gallery, and your orders. These are messages about a transaction you asked for. If we ever send anything promotional it will carry an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing from it will never stop the emails you actually need about a session you have paid for.
Who else handles your information
We use a small number of services to run the studio. Each receives only what it needs, and none of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
- Supabase — stores our database and your photographs.
- Vercel and Cloudflare — serve this website.
- Stripe — processes payments. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our systems.
- Resend — delivers our email.
- Twilio — delivers our text messages, where you have asked for them.
- Print laboratory — when you order a print, we send the image and your shipping address so it can be made and posted to you.
We also use a scheduling service to read the studio’s own calendar availability. It tells us when Diana is free; it is not sent anything about you.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep things
- Galleries stay open for 90 days from delivery. After that the gallery closes and we may delete the files. Download everything you want to keep before it expires — please also keep your own backup, as we cannot guarantee recovery afterwards.
- Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Incomplete bookings are kept so we can follow up, and deleted on request.
Your choices
Whatever state you live in, you may ask us to do any of the following, and we will:
- Tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information, except records we are required to keep for tax or legal reasons.
- Send you a copy of what you gave us.
- Stop texting you, stop emailing you, or both.
- Remove your photographs from our portfolio and social media, if you previously allowed us to use them.
Write to hello@dianagarzon.com. We will not treat you differently for asking. If you are a California resident, the rights above are the ones the CCPA gives you, and we extend them to everyone rather than checking where you live.
Security, honestly stated
Your gallery is behind a password, originals are stored privately, downloads use links that expire, and payments are handled by a processor that specialises in it. That said, no service can promise perfect security, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. We photograph children constantly — but that information comes to us from their parents, who hold the account and make the decisions about it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will email you about it rather than hoping you notice.
